- Synopsis
- Documentary with images of Hitler's SS troops. The film describes their indoctrination often when they were still children, their war crimes, their leaders, and how they controlled a country that began a world war. In order to understand better the nature of Nazi fanaticism, this documentary reviews the bloody history of young volunteers who joined the SS, the Schutzstaffel, the most fanatic and brutal of the Nazi army's troops. Hitler created these "protection squads" in 1925 to guarantee their personal safety before using them to manage the repression of the real or imaginary enemies of the regime and then, from 1942, move on to control the extermination fields.
