- Synopsis
- The city of Lemberg (Lvov) is taken by Hungarian troops during the Great War, and Veryusha, the wife of the Russian General Suharov, hides in Café Moscow, as a 'chansonette'. She tries to convince First-lieutenant Szilágyi to help her through the frontlines, but the man hurtfully refuses. A couple of months later Lemberg is again in the hands of the Russians, but this time it is Szilágyi and his two men, who are stuck in the city...
