Synopsis

Ousman Umar, a young Ghanaian fascinated by the mysterious "land of the whites", leaves his village and heads for Europe. When he arrives in Barcelona, after a hard journey of several years, the dream that drove him vanishes amid rejection and loneliness. Until he meets Montse, who welcomes him into her family and offers him, in addition to love and support, the possibility of a future. Ousman not only seizes it, but transforms it into something much greater, determined that his entire journey has had a meaning. Journey to the Land of the Whites' is based on an extraordinary true story of self-improvement and love in which the goodness of people prevails in a hostile world.
