- Samantha Kinsey, owner of the Mystery Woman bookstore, admits it's strange that her friend Barbara Sommers has been left out of her beloved brother's will. Not only that, the lawyer says Barbara signed over her half of the family business-something she swears she didn't do. Suspecting foul play, Barbara points a finger at her greedy relatives and claims that she has proof caught on film. Soon after, Barbara is brutally murdered. With the help of her friends, Philby and Cassandra, Samantha pulls out all the stops to reveal whodunit. But the case-one with clues stretching back to World War II-proves far more complex than she ever imagined.
