- The rhythms of Cuban music and the famous cabaret Tropicana in Havana are the background for Paradise Under The Stars, a comedy of passion and errors directed by Gerardo Chijona. The lovers, Sissy and Sergio, are victims of their parents turbulent past as they become entangled in a love story filled with misfortune and serendipity. Sissy is the rebellious daughter of an ex-Tropicana singer who aspires to perform at the club against her father's wishes. Sergio, her handsome lover, might also be her brother, which is a problem until she discovers photographs of him in the arms of another woman. Now his problems are even bigger.
