- Synopsis
- Year 1956. Young actress stars Marilyn Monroe (Michelle Williams) arrives in England to act with Sir Laurence Olivier (Kenneth Branagh) in the film "The Prince And The Showgirl". Well-connected 23-year-old Colin Clark (Eddie Redmayne) gets a job as a production assistant, witnesses the clash of titanic egos and forms a brief intimacy with the emotionally fragile screen goddess. Colin will document this tense interaction between Olivier and Marilyn Monroe during the production of the film.
