Synopsis

Pearl Caraldo (Rhea Perlman) is a mature widow from a modest background. When she realizes that she has missed out on a lot, she decides to enroll in college despite her grown son's protests. She makes a bunch of weird new friends and is constantly in conflict with her snobbish philosophy professor.
