- Synopsis
- The oriental dancer known as Mata Hari makes her presentation at the Argel cabaret, but a moment before her performance she escapes with the help of her servant Guillermina, with an accountant, a gray man who will make her lead a quiet life, which is what she has dreamed of. Guillermina takes advantage of the circumstance and impersonates Mata Hari. On the other hand, Von Faber, head of the Kaiser's counter-espionage services, goes to the cabaret to meet Mata Hari with the intention of taking her to a secret location in France where the Allies are experimenting with a new secret weapon: a tank. At the head of the experiment are a Scottish technician and a Russian engineer, who, along with a Frenchman and a spy playing with five or six decks of cards, meet at the Algiers. (FILMAFFINITY)
