- Synopsis
- Eman Vovisek loves beautiful Lynn, but she gets married to his cousin Adolf. Because of Lynn he loses his sanity and is taken to an asylum. There he meets his uncle Hannibal who went crazy after he divorced Matilda, who he still loves. Matilda divorced him, because she intents to marry a rich Jonas, who is supposed to return from USA. Also Adolf intents make use of Jonas's arrival. He expects him to distract his wife Lynn so he can settle his personal love-affair. However Jonas gets late so he takes Eman from the asylum to make him impersonate Jonas. The problem is Eman can hardly speak English and also he doesn't know much about USA. Thus he makes things up and speaks in an English-like way. The situation gets complicated when he realizes Matilda is about to marry him.
