- Synopsis
- Years ago, chef Lucas Gillespie left the Hudson Valley and his wife, Perdita Dylan, who stayed back to run an organic farm and was divorced while he joined the van Horn family's hotel chain in New York, where he became heiress Claire's fiancé. Now the celebrity couple returns to re-open the Valley's once famous Grantly country club, with a star restaurant. Architect Roger Owen is hired to lay out golf links, for which a neighboring estate must be acquired. Roger charms both Perdita and her devoted former nanny, Kitty Anson, who owns the bio-farm and is eager to match the youngsters even before he divulges being a relative, but soon dies.
