Synopsis
All Tomorrow's Parties is a kaleidoscopic journey through the parallel musical universe of the cult music festival of the same name. All Tomorrow's Parties includes, in an eclectic mix, performances by some of the best known artists of the moment: Battles, Sonic Youth, Belle and Sebastian, Grinderman, Iggy and the Stooges, Portishead, Mogwai, Slint, Grizzly Bear, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Gossip, Daniel Johnston and The Boredoms. The film is a semi-fiction product made from Super 8, camcorder and cell phone footage to which more than 200 filmmakers, fans and musicians contributed footage from the festival's most recent history. These images are joined by key contributions from director and editor Jonathan Caouette (Tarnation) and cinematographer Vincent Moon
