- Synopsis
- The paths of two foreign men, Bâbak and Sârbân, cross in the kitchen of a pension and in the streets of an impenetrable city. The bond that rises between them reaches a dramatic peak when one arouses in the other a long oppressed memory of a moving experience.
“The Crossing” deals with the theme of exile… not simply political, geographical exile, but an inner exile. It takes place on one day, from dawn to night, and is set in the kitchen of a boarding house and on the streets of an impervious Western European city…- Awards
