Synopsis
Silent screen stars Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont face a crisis when the advent of talkies threatens to end their careers, until Don comes up with idea of adding songs to their films. Unfortunately, Lina is completely unable to hold a tune and she is not happy when Don asks his girlfriend to dub not only her singing voice, but her speaking voice too.
