Synopsis

Television series (2002-2008). 5 seasons. 60 episodes. Series that follows over several seasons the investigation of drugs and murders in the city of Baltimore, especially that of a group of police officers against a network of drug traffickers led by Avon Barksdale in the troubled neighborhood of West Baltimore. Police corruption, fragile loyalties within the cartels and the misery linked to drug trafficking are some of the problems denounced in this acclaimed series, whose creator was for years a Baltimore crime reporter and who counted former police officers among his screenwriters.
