- Synopsis
- The TARDIS lands in 1911, in the home of sibling scientists Laurence and Marcus Scarman. Laurence desperately needs the Doctor's help. Marcus is not the same since an archaeological visit to Egypt. Cloth-wrapped mummies roam the grounds, killing people. And he's detecting strange radio signals from the surface of Mars. The Doctor discovers that Sutekh, a powerful god-like alien imprisoned centuries earlier for his terrible crimes, is using Marcus to regain his freedom and herald the end of the world.
