- Synopsis
- 13 Episodes. Among the year 1930 and on the day of his murder in 1961, Rafael Leónidas Trujillo, aka “El Chivo”, the Domincana Republic turned into a dictatorship full of abuse. Murders planned from power, gender violence and the absolute control of the media were the tools from one of the most grotesque tyrants remembered the twentieth century to control the people. Only a few brave risked his life to face him. Minerva Mirabal, nicknamed "La Mariposa", was one of them. A unique, beautiful, cultured and committed woman, whose short life accelerated the end of the "goat festival."
