Synopsis
A documentary about Jubilee Showcase - the Emmy award-winning gospel music TV show (1963-1984). The first-ever episode of Jubilee Showcase aired on January 10th, 1963, just three months before Martin Luther King Jr.’s March on Washington. The half-hour television show aired on local television in Chicago for more than 20 years, and it was produced and hosted by Sid Ordower (a civil rights activist), father of the director.
