Synopsis: Beyond the Glacier addresses the water conflict in Central Asia by analyzing the complex evolution of the Sir Daria River, which after its source in the glaciers of Kyrgyzstan, crosses more than 3,000 km to flow into the ill-fated Aral Sea. The documentary reflects on human relations with the natural environment and analyzes the future of the species within a context of geographical chaos.
