- Synopsis
- Deep within the shadowy world of paramilitary white-supremacist movements, Into the Homeland is the story of an anguished father's search for his kidnapped daughter. Ex-cop Jackson Swallow (Powers Boothe) follows his daughter's trail to a sleepy Wyoming town, which he soon realizes is home to a violent right-wing group, the American Liberation Movement. Infiltrating the group, Swallow becomes a bodyguard to it's Hitler-like leader, Derrick Wesley (Paul Le Mat), and learns that Wesley's son Tripp (C. Thomas Howell) knows where his daughter can be found. Swallow has one chance to find his daughter - turn Tripp against the group and his own father, while keeping his true identity secret. The desperate struggle of wills turns terrifyingly violent in the explosive climax.
