- Synopsis
- Year 1883. Verdaguer, 38 years old, accompanied by a guide, climbs the peak of Balaig, the highest peak of the Canigó mountain. From the heights, inspiration leads the poet to the genesis of the Fourth Canto of the poem Canigó, a journey through the Pyrenees in a flying chariot, where Flordeneu, the fairy, seduces the knight Gentil. The idea leads to a journey through the highest peaks of the Pyrenees, full of challenges and surprising passages that, years later, in his old age, the poet recalls rereading his main work, Canigó.
