Synopsis
Carter Cavendish, vice president of the firm of Cavendish & Bartlett, is, according to the pretty girls who pose in his office, a model young man. They find his smile delightful; it is such a pity that he is married! The work in this office appears to be confined largely to a popularity contest, which is won by Sandra Trumbull, impersonated by Sally Eilers. She is as thoughtful and unselfish as Betty, Carter's wife, is deceitful and faithless. Betty, be it known, is eager to have her little girl, Patsy, become a child prodigy with the violin. Betty, it might also be stated, is infatuated with Lotzi Vadja, Patsy's irritable music teacher.
Carter, who is incidentally a good polo player, soon finds that he enjoys Sandra's society more than he does that of his wife, and this attraction eventually leads to a divorce and to the noble young man's marrying the winner of the popularity contest.
