Synopsis

October 1983. Young Basque refugees Joxean Lasa and Joxi Zabala disappear in Bayonne without a trace. It will be another twelve years until their bodies, murdered and buried in quicklime, are identified and a long, tortuous investigation opened in which Iñigo, lawyer for the families, and his assistant Fede, will endeavour to bring the murderers to trial, all the while in serious personal danger and faced with the dilemma of whether or not it is legitimate to fight foul play with the same weapons.
