- Synopsis
- This British television documentary, hosted by Dirk Bogarde, is about the aborted 1937 film I Claudius. The film, directed by Josef Von Sternberg and produced by Alexander Korda with an all-star cast, was shut down after only a few weeks of filming, reportedly because of its extravagant cost. This documentary shows much of the original footage, which hadn't been seen for 28 years, and features interviews with some of the original cast and crew, including von Sternberg, Flora Robson, Merle Oberon and Emlyn Williams.
