- Synopsis
- TV Series (2008-2010). 39 Episodes. In the early 20's, in Spain, social differences were abysmal. Especially in rural areas, the strength of the caciquismo was based on tradition and illiteracy. Certain sectors of the bourgeoisie and the working classes fought to subvert the situation. In this environment, the passionate love of Victoria Márquez, a member of a powerful family, and Ángel, a deacon from a mining family, germinates. After a bomb explosion, the Civil Guard arrests and imprisons Angel's brother Salvador. The miners threaten to go on strike. Oblivious to the problems of his workers, Ricardo Márquez is about to close a large financial operation; his partner is Gonzalo, Marquis of Castro.
