- TV Miniseries (2008). 2 Episodes. Born into a humble family of Galician peasants, Carolina Otero, at the age of ten, decides to run away from home after being sexually assaulted. In her particular search for happiness and success, she travels through countries such as France, the United States and Russia, earning a living as an exotic dancer under the stage name of "Bella Otero". In her eagerness to climb the social ladder, she became the mistress of very influential and powerful people. Her true identity, age and origin are still today a mystery that she herself was responsible for feeding. Adapted from a novelized biography by Carmen Posadas.
