- Synopsis
- Bricklayer Lupe and his assistant Varillas work at a demolition site. They live in a modest building where Violeta, an invalid looked after by her aunt Matilde and her uncle, Policeman #333. While working, the bricklayers find a pot of gold coins and they hide it. After hours, they return to the work site and get the night watchman drunk just as the Chief Engineer and his lover arrive. The Chief Engineer and his thugs surprise Lupe and Varillas, beat them up and put them in a car. Violeta regains the use of her legs when she tries to follow the car. The Engineer and his thugs find the bricklayers’ treasure but are confronted by Policeman #333.
