- Synopsis
- Timmy Time is an animated comedy made by Aardman Animations. It started broadcasting in the UK on CBeebies on 6 April 2009 at 9.00am every weekday. The show is a spin off from the Shaun the Sheep animation which itself is a spin off from the Aardman series Wallace & Gromit, which introduced the Shaun character. The show's first series runs for 26 episodes.
In this series, Timmy and his friends have to learn to share, make friends and own up to mistakes. They are supervised by the teachers, Harriet the Mother Stork and Osbourne the Father Owl. The show is aimed at pre-school aged children,(but older kids like to watch it too) which the company described as "a natural step for Aardman". The show is made up of ten minute episodes, which do not feature any dialogue, much like Shaun the Sheep.
