This really hit the high notes on every level, classic horror, spirituality conflicts, Misenscene, or however you spell that unfortunate French term, the scenery, lighting, camera work, pace of both movie and speech, acting and scream queens were more than adequate. Here's the deal that is invading the US and World today. Making judgement based on current standards that were not a "Thing" back then. This is what a movie and or film critic coughs forth, honesty and competence in the making of the film. God forbid subtitles. I was maybe 8 when Earnest Roberson turned me onto Kurosawa... Not a lick of English in those films.. But apparently unlike Millennials I can read and keep pace with a film. Get a haircut poser. This is a fine film.
Quintilla really, no REALLY hates this movie. Makes me want to watch it. I think I will. goint with a pre-watch 4 Skull so as not to effect the total rating. Well Quinzilla, let's find out how close you are on your unspecific reviews.
i really hate this movie!
I happened to be a customer of Something Weird videos in the nineties when Mike Vraney introduced Coffin Joe to America. It's been great to see these unique films gradually take their rightful place in American horror lore.
Love all the incorrect grammar in the comment section. Fun movie.
