The Island Of Dr. Moreau

Fantasy about a scientist engaged in genetic experiments on a lonely Pacific island where a shipwreck survivor is cast ashore. The newcomer discovers the doctor's strange animal-human hybrids, one of them a beautiful catlike woman with whom he falls in love, but it seems the doctor has plans for the guileless castaway and his companion.
