The sequel to Tim Burton’s 2010 mega-hit “Alice in Wonderland” is loud, frantic, stunningly unfunny, off-putting and riddled with mediocre, out-of-tune work from normally outstanding actors. It’s one of the great movie disasters of 2016 (...) Rating: ★½ (out of four)"  NEG

"The mediocre sequel (★½ out of four; rated PG; in theaters Friday) matches the original’s hypercolor palette and insane visuals, though it can’t cobble together an equally engaging plot or even a coherent one (...) Rating: ★½ (out of four)"  NEG
