United States | New York Daily News | "The complex series, sometimes outrageously funny -- if you like black humor -- is a human drama filled with pathos, courtroom hijinks and a spattering of romance." | POS |
United States | Miami Herald | "It is better filmmaking than most of today's theatrical films and more adult than 90 percent of what passes for adult entertainment on the big screen." | POS |
United States | Chicago Tribune | "A sharp, intelligent, splendidly entertaining venture that deftly draws upon a world of callousness and commitment, long hours and short fuses." | POS |
United States | The New York Times | "It is Hill Street Blues revisited, complete with hand-held cameras, overlapping dialogue and meandering story lines. But, once again, the techniques are handled superbly." | POS |
