The series is based on the Spanish Borgia dynasty, and stars Jeremy Irons as Rodrigo Borgia and François Arnaud, David Oakes, Holliday Grainger and Aidan Alexander as Cesare, Juan, Lucrezia and Joffre Borgia respectively. Derek Jacobi will play Cardinal Orsini.
