Drama. Mystery Texas, year 1963. Butch Haynes (Kevin Costner) is a hardened prison escapee on the run with a 8 years-old hostage (T.J. Lowther) who sees in Butch the father figure he never had. Texas Ranger Red Garnett (Clint Eastwood) will lead deputies and a criminologist (Laura Dern) on a state wide pursuit. Red knows every road and pothole in the Panhandle. What’s more, he knows the elusive Haynes – because their paths have crossed before.
