She is forced to move to San Francisco to live with Ginger, her working-class sister, in a small apartment with her boyfriend Chili, Jasmine's life is in the most crucial stages of an acute crisis, and she is always remembering her former life in Manhattan and the Hamptons with her husband, Hal.
