1989

Documentary 1989 is a chronicle of the fall of the Iron Curtain, beginning with the decision of Hungarian Prime Minster Miklós Németh’s decision to abandon Hungary’s extensive and costly border and reopen the gates to the West permanently.
The documentary combines a mix of interviews, archival material and reconstructed scenes and dialogues that are lip-synched with the actual archived footage from the real-life political protagonists.
