- Synopsis
- "Calm at Sea" is a fact-based drama about the German occupation of France, including the story of Guy Moquet, the young French communist hero executed by the Nazis who remains a symbol of the French Resistance, as well as those of acclaimed German writers Ernst Juenger and Heinrich Boell, both of whom served in France with the German army.
