- Synopsis
- A silly but enjoyable family film about a young girl who finds a stranded seal and brings it to her grandfather. As an employee of Sea World she figures he will know what do. They end up bringing the seal home as a pet and the mishaps begin. The seal becomes lost and ends up being arrested by the police and thrown in jail alongside Foster Brooks. Brooks portrays his famous drunk man image and the scenes with him and the seal are the pinnacle of this film. Many of the films scenes are slapstick in style. Let us not forget the camp! Throughout the film the characters break out in song and dance ala Frankie & Annette!. This film was shown on television in the 80's but it is unlikely to shown nowadays as it has a very dated appearance. It was offered on VHS video in the 80's but is now out-of-print.
