- Synopsis
- Project Inferno is designed to drill down through the Earth's crust and release a powerful new source of energy. But the Doctor's fears are confirmed when a substance oozing up from the drill transforms those who touch it into vicious primeval creatures. The resulting chaos interrupts the Doctor's travel in the TARDIS and knocks him into an alternate Earth . There, his friends and companions are members of a military dictatorship... and where Project Inferno is nearing completion, about to bring apocalypse.
