- Synopsis
- Fidan is a young man who lives and works in the city. His father Dicho, a peasant and a veteran of the Second World War, supported the collectivization and industrialization of the village. An earnest proponent of the idea, Dicho confronted most of the villagers, his fiercest opponent being Lazar, his closest friend and brother in arms. After the failure of the village co-operative, Dicho left the village. After his death, Fidan fulfills his father’s last wish and lays him to rest in his native village. Settling there himself, Fidan tries to find his place in the new environment and make contact with the locals as he faces the new challenge of cattle breeding. He falls in love with Blaguna, Lazar’s daughter, and she soon becomes his wife.
