Synopsis

This is a film of memories. As background, we have the “returning trip” Brazilians, and with that background we follow Vitalino. We are in the twenties. A small farmer of S. Vincent (Vitalino) sees his father die of the plague which decimated the country. Some years later, of all the brothers Vitalino is the most valiant and takes the place of his father in the house. But the village where he lives is too small for his aspirations, so he decides to head to Brazil, leaving the sisters in charge of the work of the house. In parallel with the story of Vitalino, we enter the world of Paul Rocha, running among his movies and ghosts over the years.
