- Frank, sheriff of Cumberland City, is looking for his brother, Johnny, part of a fearsome gang of a Mexican bandit nicknamed "Lefty" to see his father before he dies. Through a flashback, we know the reasons which led Johnny to become an outlaw. A wayward and impulsive young Johnny falls for a woman wiyh a murky past and, after a series of unfortunate events, he ends up killing a man, stealing money from the saloon and seeking refuge in the Mexican bandit lair.
