- Students of different Hispanic-American nationalities, an ambassador and his granddaughter attend the Hispanic-American Folklore Festival, held in several Spanish cities (Cáceres, Alicante and Palma de Mallorca). Several countries with Hispanic historical and cultural ties (Argentina, Chile, Haiti, Mexico, the Philippines, Panama, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Uruguay) take part in this festival of folk music and dance. Drawn by the atmosphere of this colorful international meeting, the young people will live together with the ambassador and his granddaughter, who has been named Queen of the Festival, the vicissitudes of the different stages of this traveling festival, creating between them an endearing rivalry, with the aim that the folkloric groups of their countries of origin or favorites are the ones who get the first prize in the contest.
