Synopsis

Summer of 1870. Two writers. Eça de Queirós and Ramalho Ortigão write a detective story for the "Diário de Noticias ". Ramalho is kidnapped. It begins the challenge. The characters seem to be reals and the pursuits do not stop. The newspaper serial advances and Lisbon gets agitated. Threats, duels, intrigues and sex in a critique to the portuguese society of the time.
