- Synopsis
- Adaptation to the big screen of the successful television series. The action begins in a villa, where a congress is held, attended by the most important powers of the time: France, England, Portugal and the Papal States. Although these countries have forced the meeting with the excuse of seeking peace between the Spanish and Portuguese, the real motive is to conquer the Kingdom of Spain. To ensure the success of the plot, in which the Marquise of Santillana is a key player, they hire a bloodthirsty Cossack to kill Red Eagle, but he manages to defeat the mercenary, although in the fight his son Alonso is wounded. Red Eagle then decides to abandon the fight in favor of justice. Thus, both the town and the King and the whole kingdom are at the mercy of traitors.
