- Synopsis
- A tale of opposites attracting each other as a woman from Africa (Thandie Newton) meets up with a British musician (David Thewlis) living in Rome. To support herself, the woman has taken up a position as the musician’s maid, but slowly she becomes much more than that as two worlds collide as only Bertolucci can bring them together.
