- Synopsis
- A plantation owner, living in a South American jungle, sends off to New Orleans for a mail-order-bride. When the woman finally arrives, she finds life difficult in the steamy, uncivilized landscape. In addition to bearing the pain of a loveless marriage, she soon faces a natural disaster of near biblical proportions when a multitudinous brigade of fire ants threatens to destroy the entire estate.
