Synopsis

Before the advance of the Francoist troops, Jaime (50), a republican soldier, and his fellow trench, leave the front and go to France, but once there are arrested by the Nazis, and transferred to a concentration camp. There, Jaime meets Krak, a Nazi soldier with a brother imprisoned in the same concentration camp. Jaime and Krak exchange their identities so that the second can find his brother. Jaime begins to release five prisoners per night, but the escapes do not go unnoticed by the Nazi generals. After investigating the disappearances, Shönk, a Nazi general, orders the execution of Jaime, while Luis dies in the gas chamber.
