- Synopsis
- Ye Minzhu (Feng Gong) is a stolid, hard-working security guard. He has a sexy, fulfilling relationship with his girlfriend Bai Lin, who runs a record shop. But two simultaneous twists of fate turn his life upside down. First, he's assigned with his ailing senior Lao Tian to a stake-out: from the top of an abandoned water-tower alongside the railway yards, they have to keep a 24-hour watch on an empty house believed to be used by criminals who have murdered a family in the course of a big cash robbery. Second, his enforced absences from Bai Lin's life and bed coincide with the appearance of a rival: a handsome former boyfriend who wants to whisk her away to Tokyo.
