- Synopsis
- This adventure marked the first appearance of the Sontarans and legendary companion Sarah Jane Smith.
UNIT is called in when scientists begin disappearing. With the help of journalist Sarah Jane Smith, the Doctor discovers they are being abducted into the past. Following the kidnappings back to the Middle Ages, the Doctor learns that a Sontaran, an war-loving alien, has crashlanded on the planet. While using the kidnapped scientists to repair his ship, the Sontaran is supplying the local cutthroat bandits with alien weaponry to terrorise the countryside.- Rankings Position
