About this movie

Great Film, teaches alot about family and to care about each other. There wil be funny cutscenes where big chungus passes away. I would recommend this to everyone that is younger than being a 2 day old fetus. Great Movie would recommend!

I was led to watch Buttons because I had come across a wonderful resource for relaxing and contemplative music with visuals - gifted to all by the very talented director of this Christmas tale, Tim Janis. Those professional videos on YouTube, combining very high quality Nature scenes with sometimes fantastical effects, are simply entrancing, and bring light to my life. They have such heart and remind me of the glory of creation and so many places ‘out there’ where we cannot go. The Buttons movie has the same effect. Uplifting! I am not particularly fond of musical movies, but the blending of excellent sound, skilled performances and narration by the prestigious cast that includes ‘old favourites’ gave me a ‘simply old-fashioned good time’ – much needed right now, for sure, while locked in the clutches of Covid and the anxiety inherent in living in a largely callous and steadily crumbling World. The story had a dark side, as stories must, but oh how I do appreciate being reminded about the way things can be when ‘community and angels’ overcome cruelty and selfishness by their caring and prayer. I am grateful that hope-FULL movies like Buttons are still being made, giving children especially a chance to believe in miraculous possibilities in the face of the pain, loss, misfortune and man’s inhumanity to man. Thanks to all concerned in the production!
